A wrap so nice, I’ll make it twice! This is a warm weather version my best-selling Walkover Wrap. It features the simple beauty of garter stitch with the addition of easy lace columns, making it ideal for first-time lace knitters who want to start slowly. Three buttons and one buttonhole give many wearing options. Have fun choosing the perfect big buttons to feature on your shawl, or omit the buttonhole all together and wear with your favorite shawl pin.
Instructions include resource web links for multiple cast-on options, basic lace stitches, two tidier buttonhole techniques and a stretchy bind off. This project is also ideal for the experienced knitter who wants a relaxing knit. Walkover II is the perfect summer knit that you will wear all year!
